(English below) Een Sigil is een krachtsymbool, een bezegeling, een commitment en channeling in beeld,.. kortom… lichttaal en taal der ancestors. Ik vind het een heerlijkheid om me in rust en stilte terug te trekken en me af te stemmen op de takken, stenen, botten en geschenken die ik vind tijdens trektochten en reizen. Ze worden creaties van veelerlei: drumstokken, shamanistische ratels, wandelstaffen, sigilbones, amuletten,…
Het afgelopen jaar zijn de Quirky Woods zeer aanwezig! Het betekent létterlijk: ‘eigenzinnig hout’. Tijdens wandel en trektochten en reizen verzamel ik houtjes van allerlei pluimage, houtsoort en vooral… grillige vormen! Deze eigenzinnigheden vertalen zich in de vorm van ‘quirky woods’ of de shamanistische ratels. De heerlijkheid van het vinden van deze houtjes, de aandacht bij het drogen, úren schorsen, schaven en schuren. Het meditatieve van het beschilderen en channelen bij het afwerken…. Op de facebookpagina verschijnen geregeld nieuwe beschikbare creaties. Je bent ook steeds welkom om ze te komen bekijken en invoelen! Geef een seintje en ik voorzie de nodige tijd, aandacht een een kopje thee of koffie!
